Jason Dent

Hi, I'm Jason.

This is where my friends and I play games together. I run the game servers here, and anyone I've invited can sign in and jump in.

How it works

From invite to playing, in a few easy steps

You don't need to download anything, make a password, or know anything about servers. If you can check your email, you can do this.

  1. You get an invite

I'll add your email address, and you'll get an invitation email from jasondent.com. That's your account made. There's nothing to sign up for.

  2. Sign in with a code from your email

Press Sign in and type your email address. We'll email you a short number code. Type it in and you're in.

You get a fresh code every time, and each one only works once, for a few minutes. No code? Wait a minute and check your spam or junk folder.

  3. Pick a name

The first time you sign in, choose the name other people will see. They see that name, never your email. You can change it any time under Profile.

  4. Find your servers

After signing in, you'll see a picture card for each game you can play. Each card says whether that game is Running or Asleep.

    • Running: press Open and the game opens in a new tab.
    • Asleep: press Start. A new tab opens with a little moon while the game wakes up (a minute or two), then it takes you in by itself.

The game might ask you to sign in once more. It's the same email-code steps.

  5. See who's on

When a game is running, its card shows who's playing right now, for example "On now: Sir Gawain, Robin". If it says nobody's on, you're the first one there.

  6. Your groups

A group is a set of people who play together, like a weekly game night. Each group has its own games, and nothing is shared with other groups.

The headings on your page are the groups you're in, with that group's games underneath. If you think you're missing a group, just ask me to add you.

Games take a nap when nobody's playing

An hour after the last person leaves, a game goes to sleep on its own. Your progress is saved automatically and backed up, so nothing is lost. Next time, just press Start again.

Each game keeps the same web address, so bookmarking it is fine. If you open a bookmark while the game is asleep, it wakes up by itself and takes you in as soon as it's ready.
